After years of working in the entertainment industry and seeing the massive amounts of waste created at the end of every show, four friends and costumers decided to come together to put their collective experience, clothing and equipment to work. With a mission to offer reclaimed, recycled and more sustainable supplies, equipment and wardrobe to the vibrant Texas film scene and beyond, Violet Crown Costume Company was founded in May of 2022.
Since their inception, they have collaborated on projects with HBO, Apple TV+, A24, CBS, the CW and more.
